How do I prepare for my cleaning?

You’ve booked an appointment. YAY!  Leave the rest to us …. mostly. • In order for your Independent Contractors (we call them ICs and cleaners, too) to get right to their work upon arrival, we ask just FIVE things of you:

  1. Make sure that you leave linens out if you’d like us to make the beds.
  2. Clear your dishes out of your sink and off your counters.
  3. Put your leftover food away. 
  4. Clear off your bathroom vanities. Put stuff in a bin and get it out of the bathroom.
  5. Pick up loose clutter from around the house (i.e. shoes, clothes, backpacks, books, electronics, children’s toys, etc.)

IF you signed up for a “Inside the Fridge” Add-on, please throw away any spoiled foods and pre-spray the bottom of your refrigerator the night before your service.

IF you signed up for a “Inside the Oven” Add-on, please pre-spray the inside of the oven the night before your service … and order in!  Easy Off is our suggestion.

Okay, we know, that is possibly SEVEN things.  BUT, having these things done can be major time savers for your cleaners once they arrive.

Times quoted with our price are only estimates, and not necessary required to complete our Standard Cleaning Services.  Therefore, additional tasks will be added accordingly.  Failure to complete the 5 Preparation Tasks will incur an additional “Deep Cleaning” Fee of $50 & the cleaning will proceed at an hourly rate of $45/IC hour.

SO, you may wonder, what exactly is included in our Standard Cleaning Service? Every standard cleaning from Best Fit Cleaning includes a 200% Happiness Guarantee, so you can rest easy knowing that the job will be done well.  Our cleaning services for your home focus on the areas of the home that get used the most.  These including the kitchen, bathroom, and living area.  Services in these areas include:

  • Vacuuming and mopping floors
  • Dusting all surfaces, baseboards, furniture, picture frames, and most electronics
  • Cleaning toilets, sinks, counters, tubs, showers, and stovetop
  • Wiping down cabinet doors, microwave, door knobs, light switches, window ledges, and counter backsplashes
  • Polishing chrome sink taps, and
  • Emptying trash cans

Additional Deep Cleaning Services can be arranged at the time of booking or at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled service.   These services including:

  • Move In and Move Out Services – We suggest that you choose our Hourly Rate Quote
  • Organizing and Decluttering
  • Interior Cabinet Cleaning
  • Interior Fridge Cleaning
  • Interior Oven Cleaning
  • Interior Window Washing
  • Dishwasher Cleaning
  • Wall Cleaning

What we can’t clean/Services we do not perform:

  • Exterior windows
  • Interior walls
  • Carpet cleaning
  • Load(s) of Laundry
  • Animal waste
  • Mold removal
  • Rust removal / rust cleaning
  • Industrial cleaning
  • Lifting of heavy items
  • Surfaces above arm reach
  • High ceiling fans
